Absolutely not to be missed is the majestic and impressive Hermitage Sanctuary of Santa Rosalia, built on the cave where, according to legend, Santa Rosalia took refuge in the 1300s [about 20 km from our facility].

The Manfredonico Castle in Mussomeli [about 25 km away] is a fortress erected between the 14th and 15th centuries. It stands on a cliff, at an elevation of about 778 meters.
